SUBATOMIC SOUND SYSTEM: For nearly a decade EMCH
has been the producer, selector, and musician behind Subatomic Sound System
and the label head of Subatomic Sound. Subatomic Sound System will be on tour
in May with their mentor Lee "Scratch" Perry in support of the latest Subatomic
Sound chart topping release, a genre bending, political scorcher featuring
Anthony B entitled "Dem Can't Stop We From Talk," recorded in Africa, NYC,
and Jamaica with remixes from producers around the world. Founded at the turn
of the millennium, New York City-based Subatomic Sound System has built a
reputation worldwide for forward thinking production, explosive shows, and
breaking down barriers with conscious topics, and their forward-thinking adaptation
of 1970's Jamaican sound system culture and dub reggae studio techniques to
a wide variety of current bass music genres, technology, and live performances.
Subatomic releases have been seen topping various vinyl and digital charts
in the past years spanning from dub to dubstep and everything bass heavy in
between. A few of Subatomic Sound System's notable releases include their
wild collaboration with Dubblestandart to produce Grammy-winning dub innovator
Lee Scratch Perry's first dubstep tracks, eclectic collaborations with icons
like filmmaker David Lynch, Prince Far-I, and U.K. punk pioneer Ari Up of
the Slits, as well as unusual electronic projects with new school reggae torchbearers
like Anthony B, Elephant Man, Jahdan Blakkamoore, and Dubblestandart. A record
label, DJs, production crew, live band, and event promoters, the Subatomic
Sound crew is at work in NYC on every level. Subatomic Sound System and the
Subatomic Sound label are spearheaded by Emch, as producer, selector, musician,
and also the host of Subatomic Sound Radio which blasted out over the years
to a footprint of 11 million terrestrial listeners in the greater NYC area
via KEXP's MoGlo broadcast on Radio New York, 91.5fm, and on the internet
via Brooklyn Radio. Subatomic Sound System has toured throughout the Americas,
Europe, Asia, and Russia. In 2008, Emch was recruited by top ranking live
dub band, Dubblestandart, to play guitar and melodica on tour worldwide with
Grammy winning legend Lee Scratch Perry, reaching from capacity crowd shows
at New York's Central Park and Europe's largest reggae festival, One Love
in Poland.

TREASURE DON's big tune "The Chronicles"
with Subatomic Sound System was recently featured on Showtime's Californication.
Ghetto champion, undisputed crowd pleaser, and former star singer with NY's
St. John Divine's Boys Choir, Treasure Don has toured the world, bringing
fire to the microphone in the dancehall tradition of Cutty Ranks, Yellowman,
and Barrington Levy, and flexing the same divine baritone that his preacher
father once used to shake the foundation of congregations throughout the Bronx.

DELHI SULTANATE is India's foremost Reggae Dancehall artist. Apart from his solo career, he is a founding member and MC of BASSFoundation, India's first reggae, dubstep and drum and bass sound system, and lead singer its first Ska and Rocksteady band, The Ska Vengers. In 2010 Delhi started Word, Sound and Power along with producer Chris McGuinness. The organization travels to conflict zones and jungles of India with a mobile studio set up and a camera in order to record musical collaborations with revolutionary Indian singers and produce documentary films. Word Sound Power bridges the fields of music, culture and politics and has received worldwide media coverage by AFP, BBC, Brooklyn Radio and MTV. The group's first venture, The Bant Singh Project, saw musical collaborations with Asian Dub Foundation's Dr. Das and New York's Subatomic Sound System. His band The Ska Vengers have appeared in a wide range of media, from The Vogue to the banned underground publication Voice of the Indian Revolution. His recent solo releases NYC-2-India with Subatomic Soundsystem and Criss & Shine respectively topped the Beatport Reggae Charts and Juno Hip Hop singles charts. In the past year, Delhi Sultanate has performed alongside Apache Indian, Jazz Steppa, DJ Marky, and Surya Dub to name a few. A number of high profile releases and projects are primed for 2012, among them combinations with Jamaican recording artist Sizzla Kalonji and collaborations with Jstar and Mr. Williams from the U.K. The Ska Vengers' debut album and Word Sound Power's second venture - The Blood Earth Project - which was shot and recorded in the je jungles of Orissa, India, are also schedule to drop this year.
For this tour Delhi has put together
a set of classic Reggae and Dancehall riddims as well as upcoming Reggae Dubstep
releases and will be accompanied by Ska Vengers member and singing sensation
Miss Samara C., whose soulful voice is a perfect foil to Delhi Sultanate's
dancehall style.
